Hello,
I‘m new here and my english is not the best, si I hope you will understand my problem.
I‘build a workbook as a calendar for reservation of meeting rooms.
Every month has his own sheet.
In the top rows are the weekdays an below the numbers.
Example:

Monday
1

In the first column are the names of the rooms and below every room a schedule.
Example:

Room 1
0800-1000
1000-1200
Etc
Everything works fine but now I had a problem.
The workbook is on a server and more people have the access (password) for editing.
One room was reserved and later the reservation was deleted.
I thought that it would be great to insert automatically a comment with the username, date and time that wouldn‘t be deleted when the cell will be modified or if the content would be deleted.
But....the worksheet is protected an don‘t allows editing any comments. This is necessary to prevent editing own comments or deleting the comments edited automatically.

is there a way to allow automatically comments on each changed cell on a protected sheet that prevents editing own comments?

thank you a lot

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
