Macro reading from another workbook

Hi there

I have asked by my department head to automate the manner in which the production reports are being collated. I then created a macro that reads information form multiple workbooks and compiles them on another work book.

Some background info:

• The multiple work books are for the workers. They then update there productivity daily
• This then needs to be copied on to the team leaders sheet which he can then use to report on his teams performance
• This is all located in one folder with the team leaders names
• There are multiple teams with multiple workers

It runs flawlessly however I have encountered a few problems which could hamper the automation of the File namely:

1. If the workers work book is open, the code does not execute
2. If the workers work book is renamed, then the code does not execute.

So I'm hoping you can assist me on the following

1. A code which will still execute even if the workers sheet is currently open.
2. A code which will execute in alphabetically order based on a specific folder

E.g if he workers files are saved in folder A then regardless of the name of the sheet, the code will open the files in alphabetical order and proceeded to past it beneath each other on the targeted sheet( i know this might not be possible and i will have to change the code manually to the agents names)
