Hi all,

having issues with excel VBA and any input for this will be much appreciated. i have searched existing threads and not able to find the fix for this issue.

here are the issues :

1 After saving the model, the macro run would fail, with error message below:
Run-time error ‘-2147417848(80010108)’:
Method ‘ClearContents’ of object ‘Range’ failed.

2 Once you’ve stopped a macro (VBA) (hence, the macro run didn’t successfully complete), the macro run will always fail later and hence, users will no longer be able to run the macro unless they re-open the model.

Thanks

Excel Facts

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
Have you had a look at this video regarding cleaning the registry.
If you do follow these steps, please ensure you have backed up the registry first !!!

Hi Michael,

appreciate your reply, i had a look at the video and company has a very strict IT security control and might facing some issues trying to get the installed and clean the registry using this software, however, will try it on the spare laptop to simulate and see if it works.

note that this error is not consistent , it's intermittent.

will keep you posted and should you have any other input, feel free to share :)

Thanks
