Hi guys,

Today I finished The "Excel VBA and Macros with MRExcel". This course was awesome I learned a lot.

I urge someone help me to write some code that can "disable the function stop a macro when running". The objective is: if the macro running nobody can stop it.

Thanks,
Leandro

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.

Leandro,

You should be able to stop code execution by using CTRL + BREAK

If you are using Windows 8, you should be able to stop code execution by using CTRL + Fn + BREAK

Thanks Hiker

I don't know if I was clear but I'd like to know how can I do some code that any user can't stop the macro. The macro should play without anybody stop on the middle. The user can't stop the Macro.

Thanks

I Don't think that's possible. And it would be a pretty bad security issue too.

Leandro,

I agree with Jonmo1, "it would be a bad security issue too."
To add to the comments so far...

Besides the security issue, the computer is not yours, why do you think you should be able to deny the owner the use of his/her own computer? If it were my computer you did that to, I be contacting a lawyer and asking him about suing you. Anyway, even if you thought of some way to prevent breaking your macro, the user could always turn off his computer to do so.

So you just want to protect the code?

You can password protect the code so that even if they stop the macro, they won't be able to see the code.

In the VBA Project, click Tools - VBA Project Properties - Protection.
You can put a password there.
