My macro setting are set to disable with notification. If I open a file from email it asks me the first time, but if I save and then reopen it, it doesn't ask the next time. To get it to show the enable macro security ribbon again I have to send it in an email again. Can anyone tell me why the security doesn't work everytime I open the file?

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
Maybe because the security applies to the location you're opening the file from and not the file itself.

Are you saving it to a trusted location? If so, it would open from there without any warnings.
