Completely random question....

But can you write macros to do things like shutdown the PC once the macro has finished...

reason im asking is ive been running a macro which has been calculating for almost 12hours and still going...any ideas???

Excel Facts

Excel Wisdom
Using a mouse in Excel is the work equivalent of wearing a lanyard when you first get to college
Ctrl+Break will kill the macro.

Noo....i dont want it stop the macro....what i want it to do is shutdown the computer after the macro has finished running...is this possible?

I have over 200000 rows and 25+ colums of data which needs calculating hence im expecting it to take a while
