I need to apply a macro to multiple sheets, except for one sheet.

For example, let's say you open a new excel Workbook. How would you write a macro that fills in cell A1 with yellow in Sheet2, fills in cell A1 with yellow in Sheet3, etc., but does nothing to Sheet1?

If someone can show me how to code the above example, I think I can modify it for my purposes. Thank you!

Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.

Place this code in the ThisWorkbook module of the Workbook in the VBA Editor:
Code:
Private Sub Workbook_Open()

    Dim ws As Worksheet

    For Each ws In Worksheets
        If ws.Name <> "Sheet1" Then
            ws.Range("A1").Interior.Color = 65535
        End If
    Next ws

End Sub
