I am new to writing macros, and I am desperately trying to figure out how to highlight the blank cells within a certain range of cells, while also adding a zero to the cell. The problem is, there are 0's in other cells within the range, and I want to distinguish between the ones that were originally blank, and those that already contained zeroes. Can anyone help me out?

Best,

Sally

Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"
Select the range then run

Code:
Sub Blk0()
Dim c As Range
For Each c In Selection
    With c
        If .Value = "" Then
            .Value = 0
            .Interior.ColorIndex = 6
        End If
    End With
Next c
End Sub
