Hi,

I'm after a macro that will automatically open links as they populate in Google Sheets. Using Zapier and API I have links that are automatically loading into Google Sheets. Lets say each time a new row is made and a new link is inserted in Column A, how would I then get my computer to automatically open that link? Is there a way to do this?

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
I'm going to be using excel now rather than google sheets. Does anyone know how to do the following:

I have excel set up with a data connection that is getting data from google sheets.

Whenever a new web link appears in column A in my excel file, I want a macro that clicks and opens that link in Chrome. Once it has opened the link, is there a way to close the chrome tab again so I don't get too many chrome links open?

Still had no luck figuring this out. Is there a way to make it so that new links they populate in google sheets are automatically opened a browser?
