Hi,

I want my workbook (2007) to contain a button that when clicked, pops up with a selection window for pivot table fields, is this possible?

I have a few buttons that create specific pivot tables but I also would like a button that would offer the user the chance to construct a custom PT if they so wish.

Thanks,
Danny

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
No, I want it to just give the options of field names and whether they are column, row, values or filters. So the data range has already been selected, but the user will be asked (hopefully with some type of prompt) which fields are needed. This is because this will be used across a company and not just by myself so I want it to be as user friendly as possible with as little work as possible for the user.

The raw data sheet along with others will likely be hidden so there is just a dashboard screen that users interact with
