WHAT I NEED TO DO IS COPY A CELL FROM WORKSHEET JOB.XLS
AND PASTE TO A CELL IN CURRENT WORKSHEET that im working on (xxx.xls)

AS U CAN SEE I WAS TAKING DATA FROM AH10
AND TRYING TO PASTE IT TO D30.
would like a macro to do this.
below is what i have made up but doesnt work.
maybe that will help you or not.
and modifications or new code will be great

Sub code1()
'Application.ScreenUpdating = False
'XX = 0
'For XX = 0 To 998
Range("'G:\STANDARD-BLOCKS\ARC\Other\[job.xls]BSJobTracking'!AH10:'G:\STANDARD-BLOCKS\ARC\Other\[job.xls]BSJobTracking'!AH10").Copy
Range("D30:D30").PasteSpecial Paste:=xlValues
'Calculate

'Next XX
'Application.ScreenUpdating = True
End Sub
