I am trying to make a macro that will decide how many pages to print. if there is data in b97 i want to print 3 pages, if there is data in b49 i want to print 2 pages, and if neither have data then just 1 page

Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
Do those values in column B correspond to tp the last row you want printed? If so, you could do something like this:
Code:
Sub MyPrintMacro()

    Dim myLastPrintRow As Integer

    If Len(Range("B97")) > 0 Then
        myLastPrintRow = 97
    Else
        If Len(Range("B49")) > 0 Then
            myLastPrintRow = 49
        Else
            myLastPrintRow = 48
        End If
    End If

    ActiveSheet.PageSetup.PrintArea = "$1:$" & myLastPrintRow

End Sub
This code will adjust your print range based on whether or not there are entries in B97 or B49.
