What I would like to do:
Use a hot-key in Excel to open a publisher file, execute a mail merge then print and close publisher.

Currently I have an excel sheet built. I also have the publisher file set up like a template so only need to open file, import data from excel the click finish to print. I was able to create a macro in Publisher to just print current document, but was unable to set up a macro in excel to open the publisher file then execute the macro in the publisher file (essentially hand off control). In it's current formant not sure how to tell publisher to get data from current excel sheet.

It may be easier (programmatically) to set the macro in publisher (execute the mail merge from start to finish), but the user is already in Excel so I would really like to execute the mail merge right from excel.

Hope this make sense

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
