Macro to do changes in another workbook in same folder.

Hi excel experts,

Can you help me with the following please?

I have two files in a same folder (folder shared among the colleagues). I have a macro in workbook1 , When I click button on workbook1 I want to do some changes in workbook2. But I dont' want workbook2 to open be or see by other users who I have shared the files with. exg:- I want to bold A1 in sheet1 of workbook2. Is this possible?


Note: I didn't use share workbook, I only shared the folder.
