Hi All,

I need a Macro that when run, will duplicate a worksheet and rename it sequentially. It would be nice for it to prompt me asking how many additional sheets to create.

sheet naming:
VLC-550 1-1
VLC-550 1-2
VLC-550 1-3
VLC-550 1-x....

Excel Facts

Control Word Wrap
Press Alt+Enter to move to a new row in a cell. Lets you control where the words wrap.
How about this to copy "Sheet1".

VBA Code:
Sub CopySheet()

    Dim n As Long, i As Long
    n = InputBox("How many sheets would you like to create...", "Duplicate Sheets")
    For i = 1 To n
        Worksheets("Sheet1").Copy After:=Sheets(Sheets.Count)
        ActiveSheet.Name = "VLC-550 1-" & i
    Next

End Sub
