Macro to Excel ribbon?

Is there a way to add a macro to the excel ribbon under one of the categories?
and can this be added to everyone's excel who is on the same network?

Yes to the first question.
To the second - as far as I am aware, it cannot be done at network level. Excel 2010 includes a feature to enable you to customise the Excel ribbon. In Excel 2007, more work is required to do that in a workbook.
