I'm somewhat lost on this one... I need a macro to generate a report by pulling information from 1 through 5 categories (not always all 5 categories; some are omitted at random). These categories are located on a separate page from where the output needs to appear. The output will pull data from each line of each category (assuming there IS data in the specific category & specific line). When generated, the report needs to be concise and most importantly only contain the input data the categories page (there should be no extra spaces where blank categories OR blank lines actually are located). The categories all contain different information and vary by number of columns; no two categories contain the same type of info.

I have uploaded an example excel file of how the spreadsheet should function. The x's in the example are the user's input data.

I will get back with any questions as quickly as I can. Thanks for your help!

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
I've been attempting this thing on and off since the last post, and I'm getting no where. I can do the basic of copying one line from a sheet, but trying to copy how I have described is really tough to do. Any thoughts?
