Hello Guys:

If I have say 100 rows with different combination of texts, how can I write a macro to search for a text in a text box and then hide all rows where the text doesn't occur? I also want to do an option to unhide all rows again after each search.

Thanks

Paul

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
AutoFilter is probably the best way to go. Switch on the macro recorder while doing it manually. That will give you some code which you can expand to incorporate your TextBox.
