I have 20 columns which show Working Days of working week ie 1st, 2nd....., underneath that M,T,W,Th,F and then the working day number - for example on the 1st August it is WD1 and on the 8th August it is WD6 etc

I then have a separate column (A) with tasks recorded against each

I am trying to Highlight the column when opening the spreadsheet which highlights today - which can then give an immediate view of what due / overdue.

If tha'ts not possible a prompt which states today is Thursday 11th Working Day 9

Thanks

Why can't spreadsheets drive cars? They crash too often!
Please post a sample of your data, so we can see what the whole sheet looks like, and show us exactly what you would like to see.

MrExcel has a tool called “XL2BB” that lets you post samples of your data that will allow us to copy/paste it to our Excel spreadsheets, so we can work with the same copy of data that you are. Instructions on using this tool can be found here: XL2BB Add-in

Note that there is also a "Test Here” forum on this board. This is a place where you can test using this tool (or any other posting techniques that you want to test) before trying to use those tools in your actual posts.
