Hello,

I would like to enter the following formula into a cell using a macro:

Code:
"=TEXT(WEEKDAY(B5), "ddd")"

However, when I try
Code:
Range("C3").Formula = "=TEXT(WEEKDAY(B5), "ddd")"

It gives a syntax error?

Thanks for any help :)

Excel Facts

Format cells as currency
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+4 to format cells as currency. (Shift 4 is the $ sign).
Code:
Range("C3").Formula = "=TEXT(WEEKDAY(B5), ""ddd"")"

You have to "quote" the quotes.
