i need to make a macro that looks at data in, say quarterly intervals, and then will paste it on a monthly or weekly basis.

can anyone help w this

Excel Facts

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
ok, i have some formulaes that pulls in data that is sometimes monthly, sometimes quarterly.

Since i need to compare this with other data which is mostly weekly or daily, i need an equal amount of data points.

So, if i get quarterly data for instance, can i get a macro that pastes the same quarterly for every week, until there is a new quarterly data point.

I think it is possible specially when you include a sample sheet. For others also to understand clearly what you really want then you'll get your answer.

the thing is I use multiple types of data that is available in varying frequencies. Some daily, some weekly, some monthly, some quarterly.

Since i compare these types of data i need an equal amount of datapoints.
So when i want to compare data that is daily with data that is monthly, i need to paste 29 extra datapoints(assuming a 30 day month), so theres an equal amount of datapoints as with the data that is daily.
