:confused:I am looking for an Excel 2010 macro that does 2 things when I paste information.

1.) Paste using destination formatting
2.) Automatically use a space delimiter for the information being posted

Anyone have a macro written that will do this when I paste info using "Ctrl Insert" or "Ctrl V"?

Thanks!

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Hey, Thanks for your response and help. I will elaborate further on my issue.

I just switched over to Excel 2010 (which I absolutely hate so far). I am pasting a lot of different small pieces of data from a company web page into my spreadsheet. The new excel is pasting over the data as an acutal image which takes 1.5 minutes to load, then I can "Match destination formatting" which then takes another 30 seconds to change over...

The prior Excel matched destination formatting for me and only took 2 seconds instead of 2 minutes... It still puts all the date into one cell (needing text-to-column space delimiter to format). As it did before which is still much better than 2010...

I am looking to:
1.) Have the macro match the destination formatting so it doen't bring over the "Images" and merged cells from the company web page.
and
2.) Have this data automatically seperate by space delimiter when I paste it (instead of having a sperate Text to column - space delimiter macro or manual process).

Thanks again. I am very appreciative of your time and help with this.

This might shed some light on my issue. When I paste the information over, I have to do the following steps:

* Select Destination Formatting
* Select all the data, then unmerge the cells
* Text to columns - > Space Delimit
