I have tried to write code to rename sheets from sheet 2 onwards based on text on A1. If A1 is blank, then sheetnot to be renamed

Code:
 Sub RenameSheets()

 Dim I As Long
 I = Sheets(2).Index.Count

I.Name = I.Range("A1")
Next I

End Sub

it would be appreciated if someone could kindly amend my code

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
I managed to amend my code

Code:
Sub RenameSheets()

Dim I As Long
     For I = Worksheets(2).Index To Worksheets.Count
With Worksheets(I)

        If .Range("A1").Value <> "" Then .Name = .Range("A1").Value
    End With
 Next I
End Sub
