Macro To Run When Certain Cells Change

Excel Facts

Convert text numbers to real numbers
Select a column containing text numbers. Press Alt+D E F to quickly convert text to numbers. Faster than "Convert to Number"
Try this

Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
'Do nothing if more than one cell is changed or content deleted
If Target.Cells.Count > 1 Or IsEmpty(Target) Then Exit Sub

'defining your target cells
If Target.Address = "$D$2" Or Target.Address = "$H$5" Then MsgBox "Hello"

End Sub

Change the msgbox to call a macro in a module or simple write the code in here.

Paste the code into a sheet if you only want it to work for that sheet rather than a module
