Everymonth I receive quite a lot of workbooks, with a number of worksheet in them I am new to VBA and I am currently trying to write a macro to export the worksheet and use the worksheet name to save as the filename. What command line do I use for the filename

ActiveWorkbook.SaveAs Filename:=

Try:

<font face=Courier New><SPAN style="color:#00007F">Sub</SPAN> WS_Name()

WS = ActiveSheet.Name

ActiveWorkbook.SaveAs FileName:= _
    "C:\YOUR_Path_HERE\" & WS & ".xls"

<SPAN style="color:#00007F">End</SPAN> <SPAN style="color:#00007F">Sub</SPAN></FONT>

Thanks Mike it worked just fine, I am just learning and I know this will save me lots of time in the long run but it is a struggle to start off with

this was the code I was using and it did not work
WS = ActiveSheet.Name
ActiveWorkbook.SaveAs Filename:= "H:\test\" & WS & ".CSV" _
fileFormat:=xlCSV, CreateBackup:=False
