Hi, I'm looking for a neat way to simulate some of the functions of a cash register...

I'd like to have a button for each product (?) which, when clicked:

a) displays the price of the item in a cell
b) adds the price of the item to a cumulative cell which records all sales of that item
C) subtracts 1 from a cell which records stock level.

Any help greatly appreciated

Dave

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
An approach would be using Form buttons—one for each item—then assign all buttons to one macro that handles the actions you want to perform.
The macro performs the required actions via Application.Caller (returns button's name) with a Select Case block.

Is this what you are asking for?
