I need a macro that will open an existing excel file using a txtbox that the user has to type in the last name of the person they are searching for. The macro then searches a prepopulated list of names. (I don't want to use a listbox either). The user must then verify the correct person by selecting that person and hitting enter. The macro will then reference the cell three columns to the right + ".xls". Example: Last name:Kakar, cell value three columns to the right is K624708. Therefore the file name it is searching for and opening on the D:\Drive only is K624708.xls. This may be pretty basic for most, but this is my first time dealing with creating a text box and attaching it to a macro in Excel. Thanks in advance.:p
