I work in a lab and get an Excel spreadsheet from my bosses in another state each month. I have no control over the manager's spreadsheet.
I would like to create a drop in userform that i can use to help me enter data into one of the many columns and rows once the assays are run. The column headings are the same each month and in the same position but the row study labels and timings are different going down.
I don't want to create the userform each month for each spreadsheet with search function on the label that will pull up the columns needing to be filled in. I then send back the filled in spreadsheet and the managers combine with other data from other labs using the labels.
Is there a way to create a macro/VBA master to work on each spreadsheet I'm sent? I assume they have to be in the same sub-directory.
