Hey All, I'm trying to use a macro to 'submit' changes to another worksheet in my workbook. I made the macro by recording it, but when I run it from another worksheet, it affects that worksheet, not the one I want it to change. What could I do to make the macro change the worksheet I want to change?
The macro with the button is 'PO Sheet' the worksheet I want the macro to manipulate is 'Purchase Order History' Thanks!

------------------------------

Sub Submit()
'
' Submit Macro
'

'
Columns("F:F").Select
Selection.Insert Shift:=xlToRight, CopyOrigin:=xlFormatFromLeftOrAbove
Columns("E:E").Select
Selection.Copy
Columns("F:F").Select
Selection.PasteSpecial Paste:=xlPasteValues, Operation:=xlNone, SkipBlanks _
:=False, Transpose:=False
End Sub

Excel Facts

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
Try this in a COPY of your sheet:

Code:
Sub Submit()
 '
 ' Submit Macro
 '

 Sheets("Purchase Order History").Select
 Columns("F:F").Select
 Selection.Insert Shift:=xlToRight, CopyOrigin:=xlFormatFromLeftOrAbove
 Columns("E:E").Select
 Selection.Copy
 Columns("F:F").Select
 Selection.PasteSpecial Paste:=xlPasteValues, Operation:=xlNone, SkipBlanks _
 :=False, Transpose:=False
 Sheets("PO Sheet").Select
 End Sub
