Upon retrieving a workbook, it always says the blurb about it has macros and do you want to enable them ? and then it says it has links and do you want to update them ?
When you go under Tools, Macros there aren't any; and under Edit, Links there appears to be one but I've tried everything I know of to find it to no avail !!!
Anybody got any suggestions ?

Thanks !:)

Excel Facts

Create a Pivot Table on a Map
If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
If your workbook has a macro that runs on say work book open then it will not appear in tools...macro's. use Ctrl F11 and check for code in ThisWorkbook or ThisSheet.

For the links there is an Add-In calld Findlink.xla which I think I got from this site - try a search

Welcome to MrExcel -- Some macros will not appear under Tools | Macros. Event macros and User Defined Functions, for example. To find those, you'll have to open the VB Editor and search them out.

UDFs will be in a regular module, usually Module1, Module2, etc - event macros, depending on the event, will reside in the ThisWorkbook or sheet modules.

Your links may have to do with Defined Names. Check Insert | Name | Define and for each name in the box, highlight it and see what's listed in the Refers to box.

There are also applications you can download which will sniff out links for you. I'll try to post a link to them.

EDIT findlink available here: http://www.oaltd.co.uk/MVP/Default.htm
