I am trying to find a way to enable macros in a protected sheet. I have several Excel worksheets that I send out every week. They now have macros incorporated into them, with three buttons, so you are able to view only the specific sections you want by pressing a button. The only problem is when I protect the worksheet, the macros is disabled. I can allow Auto format in the protection box, but I do not see anything to do with macros. Please help.

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
You will have to unprotect the sheets (with code) to run the macros
Code:
Sub Fanugi()
Activesheet.Unprotect "password"
'Your code
ActiveSheet.Protect "password"
End Sub
