Macros for Excel Online?

Hi, I'm trying to auto sort an excel sheet and have created a macro that works on my desktop version of excel however,
I have to use the online version for work.

How/Can I get the macro to work using the online version of excel or is there any other suggestion please.

Unfortunately you cannot use VBA macros with xl online.

If you upload your desktop macro-enabled workbook to your onedrive then macros work for me in the new xlsm online file. But you can't use things like User Defined Functions, I believe you have to use javascript for that
