Hi all

I am able to run macros when I bring up the macro menu with Alt + F8 but when I add the macro to the Ribbon it is no longer working? My macros recorded here previously have worked perfectly.

Can anyone assist me in fixing this?

Thanks in advance!

Which version and how did you add them to the ribbon (Or do you mean the QAT)?

Sorry Quick Access Toolbar not the ribbon.

I added them by clicking the more commands item (the small down arrow at the end of the QAT) and then the macro menu - then add.

Which version and what happens when you click the button? Nothing? Errors?

Im using 2007. Nothing at all happens - if I click the button or use the shorcut sequence.

Are you adding the buttons for all workbooks or for a specific one?

I would like them to be all of my workbooks. They are currently stored in the PERSONAL.XLSB portion of of the VBA Project view. This is where they were previously when they were working in the QAT.

So you can still run them from the macros dialog but not from the QAT?

Yes - I can still run them when I bring up the macro box with Alt F8. As some of them are those which I do often I prefer to put them in the QAT so that I can execute them using key strokes.

I've never heard of this problem before. (there is a bug where the buttons disappear on reopening excel sometimes) Not really sure what to suggest - I'll do some research.
