Macros not working with Password protected file

Hi,

I have password protected file (passwords both for opening & for editing).

But in this file i had macros, which are now not working.

The moment i remove the password from the file. The macros starts working.

I want both, 1) the file to be password protected & 2) macros should run

Can you please guide??

You can unprotect a sheet with code like this

Sheets("Sheet1").Unprotect Password:="pw"

Sheets("Sheet1").Protect Password:="pw"
