Mail merge question

I have am excel file that is 9 digit number, 4 numbers to right of decimal
When doing the mail merge some numbers are right,some are skipped and some have more then 4 numbers to right of decimal. Is this problem with word or excel. I am thinking it is word problem

Check out the Word helpfile for Field Switch. That will let you format the Excel data on th Word side.
