Does anyone know how to make the active cell bold or colored or something in Excel 2003 so you can see it better?

Thank you.

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
From Chip Pearson (www.cpearson.com)
Code:
Private Sub Workbook_SheetSelectionChange(ByVal Sh As Object,
    ByVal Target As Excel.Range)
Static OldRange As Range
On Error Resume Next
Target.Interior.ColorIndex = 6 ' yellow - change as needed
OldRange.Interior.ColorIndex = xlColorIndexNone
Set OldRange = Target

End Sub

Wow! Thank you for the quick response. I'll give it a try. Is there a way to do it without using vba code?

One last post from me on this...in case someone else might be having the same issue.

My user had the spreadsheet showing grids so the normal bolder active cell appears to be not bold.
