#Topic: Eksport variable from Excel

This line of code works:
VBA Code:
Shell "wscript C:\Users\FR\Documents\Script\BlueBeam\csvconverter.vbs " & myPath & " ", vbNormalFocus

How to get it dynamic to the current user like:
VBA Code:
Shell "wscript C:\Users\%username%\Documents\Script\BlueBeam\csvconverter.vbs " & myPath & " ", vbNormalFocus

Do I need to build up the path part by part?

Like:
1 = C:\Users
2 = Application.UserName
3= \Documents\Script\BlueBeam\csvconverter.vbs

newpath = 1 & 2 & 3

I am not yet the most steady person in VBA.

Thx in advance guys! :geek:

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
Yes, you need to build up the part by part.
Or you can get the document path directly like this.
VBA Code:
Set wsh = CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
documentsPath = wsh.SpecialFolders("MyDocuments")
Set wsh = Nothing

sPath = documentsPath & "\Script\BlueBeam\csvconverter.vbs"

MsgBox sPath

Very nice - thank you :)

I got it to work fine like this:

VBA Code:
Set wsh = CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
documentsPath = wsh.SpecialFolders("MyDocuments")
Set wsh = Nothing

sPath = "wscript " & documentsPath & "\Script\BlueBeam_v2\CsvConverter.vbs "

Shell sPath & myPath & " ", vbNormalFocus
