I want to create a document listing items in one sheet with an item ID/SKU in the cell next to the item name. Then in another sheet in the same workbook I want to be able to refer to that item without typing the item name, just the ID but have it connected in someway. Is there a way of doing this? Also I would want to create a summary of the month or year, by being able to generate a report for each item in a mixed list, like for example how many were sold, how many broke, how many returns, and etc..

Excel Facts

Difference between two dates
Secret function! Use =DATEDIF(A2,B2,"Y")&" years"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"YM")&" months"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"MD")&" days"
Using XL2BB, post some sample source data and a mocked up solution so that we can understand your issue clearly.
