Hi everyone,

Let's say I have a date listed cell A1 which is displayed in red text. I'd like to have cells B1 to H1 match the text color of A1. A1 won't always be red though; it is conditionally formatted to change text color based on the date it contains.

Is this a conditional formatting issue, or something else? In any case, how can I make cells change text color when the text color of another cell changes?

You would just conditionally format B:H the same as in A with one small adjustment.

As a simple example, if you had set CF in A1 to be Formula Is =$A$1<10

you would change this to Formula Is =$A1<10. This can then be copied over to B:H.

You can't use the Cell Value Is option to accomplish this.
