Hi everyone,

I'm quite not sure if my question is right, I just want to make sure I'm programming things correctly. "D Anyway here it goes.

I'm using the Currency data type to store and manipulate employee salary values. As of the moment, I'm just using simple MDAS operations. I'm thinking, what errors, malpractices of the use of the Currency data type should I watch out for so that my program runs smoothly, and consistently produce correct data / results? TIA

Excel Facts

Convert text numbers to real numbers
Select a column containing text numbers. Press Alt+D E F to quickly convert text to numbers. Faster than "Convert to Number"
I would say that any entry that applies to tax or other official deduction/additon uses the same precision as the standard which applies for that area - so you don't have an issue with rounding.
