Hi this is venkat here. I have a master list of areas in first column a and in next column b i have given to the areas next as north or east or south or west. And in column g i have list of continous repeated list of areas like column a. When i give the formula in h this should match with column a and g and give the result in h. For example column area name is m.g.road and in column b i have given as north. Like this same should come in column h. Please help me mr excel

=index(B:B, match(g2,A:A,false),1)
Copy formula down in column H
If item in column G does not find match in column A, #N/A
