Hello all,

Is there a way (through Macro or other) to input fields on a master sheet - i.e. worksheet a, and have the contents also populate individual corresponding sub-sheets i.e. worksheet b, c and d?

Thanks

Excel Facts

Create a Pivot Table on a Map
If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
Right click on the sheet tab and select "Select all Sheets". Now what ever is entered will be there on all selected sheets. After finishing your job, remember to "Ungroup sheets" as said above

Hi Jason,

Can you give us a bit more background on this please? The answer generally is that, yes you can do it, but exactly how to tackle it will depend on your needs.

For example, if the sub-sheets will only be used for viewing selected data but not for further data entry, you could either (a) filter the data on the main sheet, copying to each subsheet in turn and pasting the results, (b) create a pivot table using your main data sheet as the source table, and then filter the layout for each grouping that you need.

So, a bit of detail please (layout and what you need to do), and we can go from there.
