HI

I am using this formula to grab some information which is work fine when there is only 1 instance of "wages" in a large data set. When I have a number of instances of "wages" it does not work, how would I be able to get this to work. Please note the value I want to return there will only be one instance. Also note that the value that I wanted to return is not on the same line as wages it is one below.

=INDEX(L:L,MATCH("wage",C:C,0)+1,1)

Thanks in advance

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
When there's a number of instances of "wages", how do you know which one you want to return? You'll need add that to your criteria.

Ben Gee _ I going to put the return value in the respectively column and left the other instances of "wages" with a blank.
