I have two csv files. File 1 is called testdata.csv File 2 is called bfspdata.csv
File 1 has dozens and dozens of columns but in the simplified verion there are 5 columns: Date, Track, Race #, TAB #, Horse File 2 has 7 main columns of data: Date, Track, TAB #, Horse, Win/Lose, BSP, Event ID
Now, what I would like to do is: If date, track, horse from File 2 match the same in File 1, append columns E,F,G from File 2 to File 1. Each horse and track will be listed multiple times in each file and that's why the date is important.
Is this possible to do in Excel using Index / Match or the like?
I can also save these as standard Excel files and not csv if it makes it any easier.
