Match in Excel 2010 returns strange results

The result varies by the size of the range, and most often the result is incorrect. Part of the first row is:

The formula that I want to use is: =MATCH("Brand",$A$1:$T$1)
The result should be 4, but the actual result is 13.

Changing the range provides different results as follows:
$A$1:$D$1 to $A$1:$N$1 the result = #N/A
$A$1:$O$1 to $A$1:$P$1 the result = 4 (as expected)
$A$1:$Q$1 to $A$1:$Z$1 the result = 13

I'm using Excel 10 so I do not know if the error occurs in other versions.

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
