Match names/dates

1) B13:B500 contains names. F13:F500 is dates, but some cells are empty. Need formula to return number of times "Smith" in B matches with a date which falls in the current calendar year.

2) Need a formula to return the number of times "Smith" in B matches with a date in F which falls in last 90 days. (B2 is TODAY if that is relevant).

Thanks for any help you can provide.
