I'd like to use MATCH but on several non-contiguous cells. I know you can't put cell references in an array constant - does anyone have a good workaround for this?
Function mtch(v As String, r As Range)
Dim cell As Range, x%
x = 1
For Each cell In r
If v = cell.Value Then
mtch = x
Exit For
End If
x = x + 1
Next
End Function
Enter in the worksheet in the format =mtch(v,(r)).
v is the look-up value and r is the cell-refs.
