Hello all-

I am just getting started with more advanced excel techniques and I could use some help. Basically I have a short list of totals and a long list of numbers that make up each total, unfortunately these numbers are in no real order and therefore have to be sumed manually. I am looking for a macro to help tie the parts to the total.

I am more than happy to do the leg-work and search through archives/message boards, but I don't know what to search for. If anyone knows of commands or keywords relating to this, or specific code, please let me know.

Thanks
DB

Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"
WOW...Thank you.

That is perfect. The code from the contest is over my head, for now, but I have added Andrew Poulsom's code in and it is working perfectly. Now I just need to go back through line by line and learn it.

Thanks for the help,

DB
