Matching separate sheets

Hello, I have to do a project that will take me forever unless I find a method of matching two sheets of excel.

What is the procedure to match the names that repeat in both excel sheets?

Also, is there a way to know if in one spread of excel a name is repeated more than once because excel keeps track of similarities for a few dozens written and not for hundred of names or numbers.

Hi

There are various ways that you can match data in excel. VLOOKUP, INDEX, MATCH are some. COUNTIF can also be used to determine the number of times a "name" can appear.
