Why is this (=SUM(B1+C1-A1/E1) not returning the result I want? Adding b1 and C1 take away A1 then divide that total by e1?

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
Normally division is done before addition so you need parentheses (and you don't need SUM). Try

=(B1+C1-A1)/E1
